Positive Effects of Flowers

May 27th, 2020 | Blog

Flowers and greenery have a huge impact on wellbeing.  If you are surrounded by flowers it helps you to feel less anxious, less stressed and less depressed. Lots of studies have proven that flowers give you peace of mind and increase life satisfaction.

I love purple flowers in my garden. The colour purple is supposed to be a calming colour which has spiritual benefits but I just think it’s a very pretty colour against green.  What’s your favourite flower colour? I have many which change with the seasons but at the moment I am admiring my rhododendron and anemone which are looking particularly beautiful. They don’t last long when they are in flower and so I have to take time to admire them in the present.
