Alcohol Awareness and the Importance of Dry January

January 10th @ 10:00 - 11:30

Free

Join us for a free Wellbeing at Work Webinar, discussing Alcohol Awareness and the importance of Dry January, where we will look at the issues around alcohol and how organisations and individuals can encourage greater awareness of the risks of drinking above guideline levels.

Risky drinking behaviour is not restricted to people with a ‘diagnosed’ or obvious drinking problem. Long-term health damage arising from excessive drinking can be a common if often ‘hidden’ problem for successful ‘professionals’ and managers, as much as anybody else.

The research will be shared around the impacts and benefits of ‘Dry January’, as well as other ideas to improve the health of others, as well as the generic facts regarding alcohol, health, and our contemporary society.
